Weekend is here

Wow the weekend is here and we are very excited to do not much of anything. Tonight we are going to our friends house for our monthly dinner club. Then tommorow we are out to the 49ers game. Friday Renee moved her office to a new office again, just wish they would stay put for a while. This real estate market is getting the best of us and after taking paycuts and incentive cuts, Renee is possible going to look for a part time job.
David is getting ready to go on some business trips in the next few weeks. First he is off to Colordao, then to Vegas.
Well we are off to clean our house and do laudray fun fun

Back to Daily Life

So we made it back from our wonderful vacation, it was so fun and we did not want to come home.
We are both back at work and boy do I feel like I need a break again. Our job is getting harder and harder every day. We have already taken 10% paycuts a while back and I have a stronger feeling that tommorow will be another 10-20% I am not sure how much longer I can do my job at a reduce pay. I seem to be working more hours and not getting paid for it.
So we will see what happends tommorow after my meeting. I keep my fingers crossed and might try and get a weekend job somewhere.
David is getting ready to do a lot of traveling for work, he is off to CO the 1st week in Nov and then to Vegas the 2nd week.
We are suppose to go to Disney the first weekend in Dec with our group of friends but we might not be able to go due to finance's. Since David and I have been together we have never worried about a budget, but with the economy the way it is we need to start seting up that rain day fund.

This weekend is busy as usally for us.
Friday night David will not get home from work until after 8 oclock so we will probally do nothing, Renee will watch the hockey game, maybe go to the bar with some friends to watch it.
Sat Renee has to do a 1st time homebuyer seminar from 3-4 so that is going to be fun, then it is off to a hockey game, speaking of hockey the sharks are doing OUTSTANDING. 4-0 so far.
Sunday nothing planned I really need to mow the backyard so I will probally do that.
The weekends are so fast and it never seems to have time to do everything.

Well I am off to bed, hope all is going well for everyone. Keep us in your prayers as the next few months are going to be a rough economy for Renee's job.

New Day in Hawaii

Today we are heading out to go see more sights in Hawaii today we are going to Palace of Refuge and Captain Cook Moumment. We are also going to check into possible going scuba diving sometime this week. Today our friends Rick and Tonya leave to go home though, the only where able to come for a few days, so tonight David and I will be doing everything just the 2 of us.

Yesterday we went to the beach, that was so much fun. The funniest part was when it was time to go I was letting the wave take me in to the shore, just as we got there a wave came in and knocked me down, then I was laughing so hard that I did not see the next wave coming in that one took me down. So after tons of salt water in my mouth and laughing so hard I was able to get up and get out of the ocean. Needless to say when we got back to our room I had so much sand in my swimming suit it was so funny.

David decided to forget to put sunscreen on his feet and brunt them really bad. Hopefully they get better soon as I can only imagine what burnt feet feel like.

After the beach we came back and had lunch, then headed out to the shops for a while.
Rick and Tonya went to the pool and David and I took a nap, I was not feel very good yesterday afternoon.

Then last night we went to dinner at Tommy Bahama's resturant, it was very good, probally one of the better meals that we have had since we have been here.

Spa was wonderful

Yesterday David and I decided to get a couples massage at the spa, it was nice. We are really enjoying our time together. It is amazing how little time we find that we spend together during the week with our crazy work schedules. Well today we are off the beach.

Hawaii is great

So David and I took our vacation to Hawaii this year to visit our time share that we bought as a wedding gift to each other. This is on the big island of Hawaii, we usally go to Oahu so it has been intresteting. This is very very rural, and most stuff closes by 10 at night, so needless to say it has been a little wierd. Oahu you can stay up all night and stuff is open.
We have been doing some shopping and driving around, our friends Rick and Tonya came for the 1st 5 days of the trip then we will spend the last 4 just David and I.

Where does the time go

Wow it never seems like there is enough time in the day for us. The weekend comes and go's by so fast. We went to a baby shower for some friends this weekend it was great, we had a good time.
David had poker night on Sat night and Renee went out with the girls it was alot of fun for them. Next weekend I think we are going to have friends over for a pool party/bbq.
Well it is off to bed it is going to be a long week

Sorry it has been a while

Sorry for everyone that try's to keep up with us, our lives have been crazy since the last post.
Week of July 14th nothing crazy happending we both worked and then celebrated Renee's birthday on Friday the 18th it was alot of fun, we enjoyed it truly. Sat we had our month dinner club, we had a great time with our friends again, then it was rest and relax as Renee headed to DC the following week for fun with the Miller family. David headed to LA to spend time with his friends. The last weekend we just hung out at home, Renee was recovering from a bug.

Housewarming Party

Good morning, WOW what a night we had last night at our house warming party, we probally had about 60 people here. It was a great time and everyone seemed to leave happy. Our friends Noel, Elise and my 2nd mom where great helps. They let David and I socialize with our friends while they took care of the food. It was great. We are very very lucky to have such great friends. We received so many wonderful gifts it. I as to laugh as we spent alot of time n the garage just chatting with our friends and even playing poker. We have tons of beer so if anyone wants to come over for a drink feel free to.

catch up time

Wow it has been a crazy longtime since we blogged on here, for the people that are following our blog sorry. So lets start back and we will give you a break down of what we have done

July 1st, Happy Anniversary to Renee Parents, to wonderful people that have given so muchy to everyone around them. We wish them many many more years of happiness.

Also today Renee started her new office, it seems to be going well for her and she seems pretty happy there.

July 2nd, we had our first overnight guest, our good friends Ronnie and Billie Eastman and daughter Allie came to stay with us. We just hung out at the house, we went swimming, had a cool dinner at a Korean BBQ place. Then we came back to the house to work off our dinner and played the Wii.

July 3rd Renee had to work late then we meet our great friends Christine AKA buffy and Rob for dinner. We went to Potstickers Resturant that was a good time catching up with them.

July 4th, we decided on the 2nd to Montery and Go Whale Watching with The Eastman family. all I can say is the sea sick medicne worked and we had a great time. We saw over 15 humpback whales and over 6000 dolphins. It was an amazing trip and it was also great to spend more time with them. Then we went home after that and just hung out at the house. We love our new home.

July 5th, we spent a lazy day gettihg bids on the back yard, we want to get the work started on that to make it nice. Both contractors told us they would start this week but that did not happend. Then we got our pictures framed it look so amazing on our wall I love it.

July 6th

Back to to Montery and Pebble Beach with our friends Sandra from Seattle and her boyfriend Jim, we had an amazing time it was great to see them and have a good time realaxing. Montery is a great area to relax and it truly is that way.

This week, we are back to the daily grind of doing thimgs, we are going to have a house warming party this weekend so that is going to be fun. Well it is time to log off I am sure that this is long enough for all of you

Weekend

So as we sit here this Great Sunday Morning we are bummed how fast the weekend goes by so fast. Renee started school again this week after taking off a 3 weeks to enjoy our new house, which is becoming a home. Hopefully this week we can get the backyard done. Sat we went to a engagement party for our friends son, it was a great time very nice put together. Then we came home and moved some of Renee stuff to her new office, it was very hard for her to sit up shop in the new office but we know that things will be great there for her. Then it was off to Home Depot to registery for our house warming party, we had a few guest ask where we are registered at so we figured we should do that. Today we are working on the gargage and doing stuff around the never end house, then it is off to work for a short week.

Another Busy Week

As the week comes to an end we are working hard at getting things together at Lo Places, tonight Renee spent about 2 hours in the garage going through boxes and fun stuff. She also was able to get all of David's paint off the sink in the bathroom, now only if she can get him to use the master bath to get ready in the morning instead of the half bath, not to sure why he takes a shower and then comes down stairs to get ready, must be a guy thing. We found out that we have a donation company that come ever few months to pick up donations so we do not have to take it to the goodwill, I am very excited to put out my share of donation on July 11th. On July 12th we are having a house warming party to show off our wonderful "Lo Places".
On top of getting the house ready for our first offical out of town guest over 4th of July weekend, some from Neb and some for Washington, we also have an engagement party for our friends son, wow it is crazy when you have friends who kids are getting married.
Well we better log off Renee to do more work around the house and David to do his work or that is what he says he is doing but he is really watching Sci Fi station.

Hard week

I know that this week is going to be hard for me, today I realized this is my last week at my office in Milpitas, I am sad to be leaving the area that I have grown to love working. I know that it is time for a change and I know that I need to be thankful that I have a job, but I cannot help feel like a failure. I could not make my office successful enough to stay open.
So as of July 1st it is off to Campbell to start yet another chapter in my escrow career. I cannot wait for this market to turn and to be able to sleep at night.
My husband has been so supportive and wonderful I cannot thank him enough.
Well now it is time to do my school work.

Weekends

Wow the weekends go by so fast, just seems like yesterday was Friday. Well today we are off to a friends house for a Graudation BBQ/Pool Party, it should be a great time. We are looking forward to seeing our friends we have not seen in a while.
Then it is Renee's last week at her office, we know it is going to be hard on her, she has worked in that office for so long and all her friends are in that area.

Busy Busy

Yesterday and Today where both busy days for David and Renee.
Renee had a meeting for work at 5 30 and did not get home until almost 8, it was one of thoose state of the company meetings, talked about all the changes that are going on. Once she got home there was about 3.5 hours of work that needed to be done. So to work she went in the office, which David has done a great job setting up the office for her. Funny how she just got over his space.
David decided it was finally his turn to cook dinner and made Garlic Scallops with Pasta, it was very good, Renee asked for seconds which never really happends.

Tonight Renee came home and started picking up the house, she has decided to invite some friends over for drinking and the WII, the last time this group was together some crazy stuff happended. We will just leave it at that. But it will be fun.

Not sure how much we will get on here this weekend it is going to be busy busy busy, Sat Renee is off to a baby shower for our old neighbor, they are having a boy in Aug we cannot wait for them (hopefully we will be next in our circle of friends).
Then Sunday we have a pool party and graduation party to attend. Then Renee needs to go to a funeral service for a past co-worker that was killed in a car accident on Tuesday.

Stop and remeber

Today Renee received some bad news at the office, one of her co-workers from a few years ago was killed in a head on car accident, her grandson that is 11 is in critical conditions with major brain damage. It makes you stop and remeber to always say I LOVE YOU, you never know when that will be the last time.

One another note, David and Renee are both sick with colds.

Renee stepped up to be on the HOA board and will be voted in at the next board meeting. Yes she will be an HOA nazzai.

David set up the office so Renee can do work from home if needed.

Monday Blues

So today Renee went to work to a pretty much empty office, it was sad for her to not have her friends there, to think in 2 weeks that office will no longer be there. It is a bitter sweet change. David spent the day doing work and actually getting his office at home set it up, it is coming along nicely. Not much else has went on from yesterday to today, just going to go buy a can opener and go to a movie, I think our can opener got legs and walked away.

Happy Fathers day

Hello and Welcome to Lo Place's, this is a place where you can keep up with David and Renee to see what is going on.
This weekend was very nice and relaxing, we just hang out with friends and did stuff around the house.
David is getting ready to accept a job in San Francisco that will make our time together be alot shorter as he will have to leave for work aroun 6 30 and then not be home until 7 30 at night. Renee has alot of changings going on at her job also, after numerous job offers I am choosing to stay with the same company. We pray that she is making the right decision, as of July 1st sheI will be moving to the Campbell office as they are closing her office down. Due to the current market they have decided it would be best to save the company money and move to a place where they can make some.
Our house is coming along, we think we are getting all the little kinks worked out and the air is finally working. Renee has enjoyed the pool for a few days and has meet some of our neighbors. In the next few weeks we hope to get the office done and also to be able to get started on the backyard for the most part. David could careless about the backyard but Renee wants to be able to enjoy sitting out there with her friends, (must be the midwest part of her).
Well we are going to start watching a movie now, we hope you are all doing well
